Action: Create a Job Template
Job Templates can be created with or without task. Any tasks created within a Job Template will also be saved to the Task Template management table for use over and over.
Job Templates are used to prepopulate data when creating a new job.
Navigation
Click on Business from the main menu, then click on Settings . From the Work Settings menu click on Job & Task Templat es. Then click on Create New Job Template from the Action menu.
A General Information: Enter your Job Template details here. See below table for details
B Help & Cancel buttons
C Controls: Enter Job Status and select WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) to be used
D Assign: Select Job Owner for this job

Template Name
| Mandatory * Name you would like to give this template. This name will appear in the Template name field when creating a job from a job Template.

Organisation
| Mandatory * Select from the dropdown which organisation this template is to be assigned to .

Job Name
| Free text field to enter a unique job name

Job Description
| Enter a description for this Job
|
Customer
| Select a customer from the dropdown who will be invoiced for this work. Click Add New Customer to create a new Customer account.

Contact
| Select a Customer Contact from the dropdown. If the name is not in the dropdown, simply type the name.
|
Site
| Select the Customer Site from the dropdown. If the name of the site is not in the dropdown, simply type the name.
|
Customer Order number
| Free text field for customer order number
|
Reference
| This is a free text field to enter your own reference.

Job Status explained!
Planned: Job is in planning mode and has not been released to the users yet
Available: Job is available to allocate time and costs to. It can be seen on the App. Schedule, Job Assigner and Planner.
On Hold: Job is on hold and cannot have time or costs allocated to it. It is NOT visible on the App, Schedule or Job Planner. On hold jobs are shown on the "On Hold" tab within the Job Assigner.
Completed: Users cannot see or book time or costs to job, but financial Users can still invoice and settile costs.
Closed : The job is closed with all financials settled.
Cancelled: The Job is 'deleted' from all financial reports.
Don't forget to click Save to save your works.
