Navigating to your Schedule can be under taken one of two ways.
Direct
Click on Job from the main menu, then click on
Job Schedule.
Then if required, simply filter by Job Status, Job Number, Supervisor, Job Owner, My Jobs or Assigned resources.
From within your Job
Click on Job from the main menu, then click on
Job Management.
Find

from the Navigation menu and the QicWorks Job Schedule will open showing the details for that Job.
Key Terms
Job
Task
Add summary tasks to beef up task details. This includes the planned start and finish of your tasks. You can set the duration and add resource costs. There are also columns for percent complete, actual start and finish.
Job Milestone
Add milestones to break up your project into smaller phases and set short-term goals. To make a milestone, just highlight a task. Click the milestone button, and it’s represented on the Gantt as a diamond.
Resource
Dependencies, Predecessor and Successors
Link dependent tasks on the Gantt chart to avoid bottlenecks. You can drag and drop the task to set task dependencies, or use the link button. This simple step prevents headaches later.
Occur when one task can't move on the the next phase until a particular task has been completed before it. Once linked every change made to the predecessor affects the successor.
Critical Path
is the path made up of the longest duration, but represents the shortest time frame to complete that job or project. If a Task on the critical path is delayed then the job is delayed for the same duration
Baseline
Baselines capture original target dates, so you can compare your plan to what actually happens during the execution phase. To set the baseline, go to the settings gear. Looking at planned versus actual progress shows whether you’re on track or not.
Notification
Tag anyone in the project group, and they’re instantly notified by email. You can direct them by adding detailed instructions and attaching files to each task. Everything is in one place, making it easy to find.
Set Dates
Set dates to begin scheduling. Mark the planned start date and planned finish date to estimate each task’s duration. As things change in the project, it’s easy to edit the dates: just drag and drop the timelines
