Problem
Who can see employee leave entitlements and where can this information be seen?

Solution  

QicWorks has been designed with flexibility in mind. Just like pay rates, leave balances can be often be viewed as sensitive information to some account owners, so we have included this feature within our account permissions functionality.

QicWorks allows Users to view Leave Balances based on access permission, then by their individual permissions. However the default  to view this information is available to any person with Manager or above approval level. Account owners and administrators do have access to customise this Access Level or alternatively assign this ability to an individual in their personal account permissions.
Staff leave balance or entitlement are only visible if you have connected QicWorks with your Xero account. Leave balances are pulled at midnight of payrun approval.

To change our default access permissions click on   Business   from the main menu, then click on   Settings.   Under Account Settings heading select   Access Privileges  . You will then need to click on Set Detailed Access Levels and choose your Access Leve from the dropdown to edit.



To change an individuals access permissions click on   Business   from the main menu, then click on   Staff.   Click on the individuals name and then select  Permission from the Actions side menu. Turn the View Leave Balance toggle to off/on and Save.

Once you have sorted permissions, you will need to ensure that the Leave Type has been set to show individual's leave balances. To activate please see Leave Data.

Leave balances can then be viewed (by those with permission) on individual timesheets at item B.
